Options are flexible and vary according to :

Worksheets for primary classes refer to “Victor in trouble” story. Other worksheets, in which various aspects of the Great War in Comines-Warneton are exploited, are directed at secondary classes.

“The trunk with chatty souvenirs”

This educational option is particularly attractive and includes a visit of Interpretation Centre “Plugstreet 14-18 experience’ and animations adapted to pupils’ age.
 

For the youngest ones (4 to 6)

MATERNELLES recadrée 2The nice – and somewhat simplified version of – “Victor in trouble” leads children to experience the encounter and the moving friendship between young Victor and John, a British soldier.

Children gently discover key moments in their closeness that will last after the Great War and find them, here and there, in the scenography of the Centre.

PRIMAIRE 4 recadrée“Victor in trouble” story comes in its full form and enables young listeners not only to follow Victor’s and his comrade John’s (a young British soldier) everyday life, but also their growing friendship.

The Centre visit corresponds to key moments of the story and targets some themes at children’s reach.
